Testautomation 4.0 & Connected Car:
Test the complete networked world around cars with one tool
In the future, cars will become the communication centre for networked mobility. It communicates not only within the body, but also with other cars and the environment. Infotainment systems, head units, mobile devices, backend infrastructures and control units are networked to form a complete system. This leads to highly complex systems with a high number of variants. The interactions of these individual systems must be checked as a whole. Despite these challenges, the delivery of stable systems is made possible by continuous test automation.
Therefore we developed expecco.
Reliability in embedded connectivity systems
expecco enables the common access to all components contained in the complete system. The connection of mobile devices, backend infrastructure and ECUs are tested together in a test scenario. Complex and realistic workflows can be mapped and automated.
Automated end-to-end test for the complete system
All interfaces to infotainment systems, head units, mobile devices, backend infrastructures and ECUs are provided. The fully programmed block libraries contain all the required functions. In contrast to linear, sequential software tests, expecco can represent dynamic, non-linear processes via parallel sequences, branches and loops. Backend systems can be simulated realistically, so that expecco can be used in a very early stage of development.
